Winter is coming again....

Winter is coming again in Thailand. I'm in Bangkok...The weather is perfectly better. Cool breeze I can feel in each morning during the past 4 days. I changed my job and have my private time, yet still need to give most of time for preparing lessons for the next semester to come. I can't wait for the new year this year, when I will be back home. This year, we plan to make a day trip to Chiang Mai (one day is not enoough I know, but we do not want to stay overnight isnce we know that booking or even finding a room during New Year is not that easy. At first we planned to visit Doi Angkhang and to stay for a night or two. But what made us change our plan is the process of booking the accommodation there. It is a bit strange that we wouldn't receive a reciept for a booking. The resort owner said that we would just fax back the bank transfer slip to them and that's it. They told me that we would just show that slip to check in. Ummm, the thing is that how we could trust them since anyway the money is in their hand already but we do not have anything as a document from their side.) Sooo, this is the reason, plus the reason that Angkhang at that time will definitely be crowded and we wouldn't see any beauty of this Doi for sure. We do not want to struggle fighting for foods or even areas to "appreciate" the beauty of Angkhang nature and to "breath" the fresh air...

So the plan will be one day trip starting from probbaly Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang in Koh Kha District, Lampang. After that, we will straigth ahead to Chiang Mai's Saraphi District for Wiang Kumkam, followed by Sankampaeng Hotspring... This is what is in the plan. It would be just a light day that needs not us to plan any thing. It's a kind of sightseeing trip...
